Just wondering what the norm is for everyone on how many round you shoot on average for a range session. I usually shoot around 300-500 rounds and try to incorporate around 2 to 3 different drills each session. What do you do?

I was shooting 400-500 per...however after doing to some training and discovering I was doing everything wrong, I now shoot about 100-200 per trip and spend much more time on posture, grip and mechanics than actually just pulling the trigger.

If I'm really training, like really at a class with an instructor, it's usually 300-500 rounds a day.

At a match, usually 80-130 rounds.

Goofing off at the range, 100-200.

Range Practice - 2x each month, run different drills, 50-100 rds each time

Dry Fire Practice - 2x each week, different drills, 20 mins +/- each time

I usually run 100-250 rds in a typical trip to the range.
I take a couple courses a year where I will run 1200+ rds
per class.

If taking 1 caliber out its about 300rounds, then another 300 22s just for fun, if take multiple calibers its about 100 a caliber. I used to take out 9mm 40sw 45 acp 45gap 10mm and 38spl 380 every week. Got to where I had to reload way to often. Now take out 2 calibers and 22s weekly. Only have to set up dies and reloader 1x a month per caliber.

From 100-300/per but I only have about an hour per-vist, twice/week. Amount depends on whether I have cheap garbage bulk in plenty or if I just stopped at Dick's or if I am running the .40S&W (expensive) or the 17 (cheaper). Mag capacity matters too. I run too much ammo sloppily through the 17.

varies, depending on how much time I have. anywhere from 50 up to 1000, especially if I'm there for the whole day and mostly shooting rimfire :)
