How many here use 'micro' weights for weightlifting?

    They are the 1lb, 1/2lb, 1/4lb weights used to add small amount of weight to the bar every time..

    I didn't for legs because I was easily adding 5lbs every session, but for shoulders, my nemesis, I used them.

    I used to belong to the web site 'Cyberpump'. As i was bidding on a set of PDA weights, this guy offers me his set for free because he wanted the ones on Ebay.

    I use some large diameter washers from Fastenal. IIRC, a pair on each side give me 2.5 lb jumps.

    Most plates arent that accurate. I could see them more for a home gym where you can use the same plates each time. However, I don't see much point for your average commercial gym.

    I used to belong to the garage gym forum many years ago. It moved to cyberpump some years back and trigg the founder left it later on.

    I also used large washers. I bought them from a local hardware store. I used their scale to choose the washers that were closest to .5 lb each. That worked for me.
