I have both G22 and G17 4th gen. I've shot the Glock 17 more then the G22. I think they did a good job with the upgrades, The wish they hadn't changed the spring in the G17, I never thought the G17 had a recoil problem and now I have to buy different spare parts and time will only tell if the slide and spring hold up. I've noticed small dents on the end of the recoil spring.
As far as the G22 the new recoil spring helps a little. For many friends that are lefties and small hands they will really like the new Glocks.

I don't know about that, I have 3 friends that shoot GSSF with me and all three now have 4th Gen G17's, and two of them got rid of their 3rd Gens after a couple times to the range and have plans on replacing them with more 4th Gens.
I plan on buying more 4th Gen's as they expand to more models. Of course I'll keep my 3rd Gen also.

Have 8 3 Gen just got my first Gen 4 G 17 today.
That spring sure is stout. Will be interesting how it shoots.

Are the Gen 3 parts still interchangable with the Gen 4?

I do like the grip. Will change out the sights. My old eyes need more light.
What sights do you older eye guys like?

    Thanks,
    Steve

One G17 and will buy all G4 in 9mm. I prefer it to the other Glocks I have owned and currently own.

So which 4G GLOCKs are out, which ones are on the way, and which models will never see the light of day as 4G?

I might consider replacing my G23 with a 4th Gen when it comes out. And I might buy another 27 if/when a 4G version comes out.

    Glock doesn't release much information.
They have the G17 and G22 out now. I heard that the G19 and G23 are next and should be out March/April, we'll see.
Not sure what Glocks won't be converted. We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully Glock will start releasing some information soon.

I just got back from the range with the 3rd Gen 17, RTF 17 and the 4th gen 17.
All are very accurate but the 4th Gen kept the tightest grouping.
I fired a 100 rnd box through each. So far the 4th Gen are my favorite. And yes I'll be buying a 4th gen G34 as soon as they come out also. Thats why I have my 3 rd gen G34 up for sale right now.

Same here. I might go with XD or CZ after the gen 3s are no longer available.
