Seems like in years past the prize winners were posted within a week or so of the prelims being posted. Is it just me, or is it taking longer now?

Usually it's the preliminary results that are posted within a week to 10 days depending, of course, upon how many simultaneous matches were conducted that weekend. Final results w/prizes often take a month or more, for a variety of reasons. Besides personnel being out sick or actually getting a day off, there could be scoring errors or other administrative stuff, including members not getting back with GSSF when they need to resolve a scoring or registration discrepancy. Possibly they're running a bit too thin staff-wise...

Not making excuses; but that's what seems to happen. Believe GSSF has hopes that the recently deployed database and scoring system is going to expedite this a fair amount. I know that last year's Oakdale finals were posted phenomenally fast - but that was an occasion where none of the NetPads took a dump....
NetPad is dead; long live carbonless scoresheet written in English!

FWIW, IMO the walkaway carbon copy for the shooter is a winner. ;f

And, thankfully, Donna is back to work after her foot injury. ^c
