I just submitted my GSSF application Friday, just curious how long it takes for all of it to be processed.

Mine took about 3 to 4 weeks.

Well, the earliest it could be received is Tuesday, due to the Holiday. On Friday, at least four members head out to matches in Bremerton, WA and Hallsville, MO and will not be back in the office until Tuesday. I doubt that it would be processed before the 14th.

Good deal. No hurry. Thanks for the info. I have seen posts where people say they "picked up a g2* pistol with their GSSF card.." Does that mean you get discounts on guns with the card?

After being a member for 12 months, you may request one pistol purchase coupon per year. GSSF price at a participating LE/GSSF dealer is $425.00 for a G17/G19/G26 sized pistol.

If you are worried about pre-registering for a match don't be. I asked the GSSF about that and they told me to go ahead and register and enter "pending" as my GSSF member number. Not sure if that was the issue but valuable info for new members none the less.

If you can shoot the Glock safely you are good enough to compete.

So, its been 16 days and nothing. Should I be worried?

Is there a way to confirm receipt?

What about renewals? I emailed my application Sunday evening, and my card was charged the next morning.

Not that I'm in a rush to get anything, just more of a curiosity. I've renewed once before and don't remember how long it took to get my new card.

My card still hasn't been charged. And I sent mine on 9-2.

If you mailed it, GSSF did not receive it until 9/06/11 because of the Holiday. Worry on or after 10/04/11.

I joined today at Conyers...and want to do indoor league starting next weekend....I didn't get a temporary number or anything, should I just put pending on the registration form?

I emailed mine on 9-2 like it says too on the app. Outlook says it went successfully. Maybe I should call to make sure they got it?

Calmolly, just write "pending" in the membership number space.

Glock 1--if you e-mailed it, give GSSF a call tomorrow, but not today, They are all exhausted from a very long weekend at Conyers. That match drew nearly 1,100 entries.

Well, I don’t think I will be joining. No response since 9-2 and no response to my inquiry from a few days ago. Not too sure I am comfortable with that kind of communications. I will just consider it a learning experience and move on.
