I just go this in a trade and shot like a dream....But my ? is how is the quality.....I read different forum and they say once you get over 2000 rounds watch out. I personally don't agree with that person. What do you think.

Nearly 6000 rounds through mine so far. Serial #PLS*** purchased 09/06/2010. Not a single issue of any type so far. In a word it has been flawless.

The 40S&W Gen 4's seem to be doing fine.

I purchased mine in Dec. 2011, have about 3000 rounds through it and it has been flawless. Excellent gun.

There's a Gen1 G17 on display in the Glock factory in Austria with 348,210 rounds through it, and the only parts that were ever replaced in it were springs.

My g22 gen4 is the tits. It's been "rebuilt" with the new ejector. Got a TLR-1 for it and a couple thousand flawless rounds through it. Glock night sights and a LWD 40-9 conversion barrel/9mm magazine. It's super accurate. Shot a coke can from 65-70 yds with it!

My Gen4 22 is my USPSA Limited gun. I shoot the **** out of it and it just keeps running and running.

I think that I've got the same setup as theblakester posted for mine. It was an LE trade-in that looks like it was more like a turn-in or evaluation unit. Nothing was fired from it, and it came complete with Glock night sights, too.

It shoots very well, and I actually prefer the finger groove spacing on 22/27 than I do on the new compact Gen4 models. My fingers go in the right places on the full/sub, but go on top of the groove bumps on the compact. I still practice with all of them, because you just never know which one you'll have close by, right?

glockparts.com supplied the .357SIG barrel for my G22, and I've been adding G31 mags a little at a time until that big sale a few weeks back when I added a bunch more.

Keep shooting the G22--it'll loosen up and get easier to shoot. Oh yeah--congrats!

Once you get over 2000 rounds watch out? For what? Are the gen4 22s now disposable?

2000 rounds is just getting broken in good....

I'm right at 2000 rounds---0 issues and I don't foresee any in the future.

Like the others, no issue. Serial RDE*** I've put about 350 rounds through.

No issues with mine either and I've run between 600-800(I don't count my rounds...I shoot to relax and have fun). Mine is a "rebuilt" unit from Glockmeister. The gun works flawlessly. The only annoyance I have is that the first "stage", if you will, of the trigger pull is very mushy.

All good with mine but I'm only at the 500+ mark. He might be talking about the factory specified time to replace the RSA.
