This is the first gun I have sent off for custom work, and it is killing me! I sent the gun off a little over a week ago, and should have it back in the next two weeks, but I am getting anxious lol...

I've only had one done. That was the Springer GI that Bob Miller tweaked for me.

I wanted to call everyday, I checked e-mail every day. I'm very impatient, waiting sux!

I usually end up buying something off the shelf to deal with the pain. :D
Three weeks is extremely short, the Beastbob took mooooooooonths.
    Hang in there!

Three weeks is a VERY short wait, many well known Smiths' wait is nearly a year now for a full build.

    3 weeks?

That is easy time...My last purchase took 100 days. The first month was hard but once I stopped worrying about it it went relatively quickly.

3 weeks? I wish. Try 14 months and then we'll talk.

I can see that kind of wait on a full build. I am not griping about the wait, just never had to wait before lol. I am impatient.

Try waiting about 33 weeks for a quoted time of 8-10 weeks for a small job, or 18 months...even better.

I deal with the waiting anxiety at the range...and Crown Royal in the "special" cases. It works.

The wait is never fun. It's been 7 months since I sent my TRS to Harrison Custom and it will probably be another 7 months before I see it again.

It was two actually, a "Retro" GI and a TRS. I might sell that "Retro" though, I barely shoot it.

    Dave Helton.

Bob with snake skin MSH, snake skin front strap, flush crown barrel, 10-8 trigger install and re-coat. Getting frame re-coated to match the slide so it doesn't have the dull flat look anymore...

I dealt with the wait by moving out of the PRK...
