I am looking to install the Big Dot sight on my G29, and
can't figure out how to remove the stock Glock front sight.

From what I see, as I look inside the slide, there seems to be a ring of plastic(?)melted onto the slide around the front sight hole.

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

Pair of plyers, twist it right off.

A pliers works fine. Otherwise you can you a small punch, awl, or similar item to push on the center of the sight from the underside.

It may be resusable this way.

All who said pliers are correct, just grab and twist. :)

    Okay....
I took the pliers and twisted the front sight off.
But, still have that raised ring around the mounting hole on the inside of the slide.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

Squeeze it with a pair of needle nose pliers and it will come out.
