How Do i Get To Startup Menu? (sigh)

    I know...no need to tazer me!

    How do i get to my startup menu so i can delete some or move them??

    Go to run and type MSCONFIG. That should take you there. Look at the last tab on the right and it shows you what is on the start up menu.

    Right-click on the Start menu, then hit Open All Users. Double-Click Programs, then double-click Startup.

    Repeat by right clicking Start and choosing Open to get the start menu that is just for you. (There is one for you as a user and one for all users)

    Right click on the item and choose Delete.

    To move it, just drag it.

    Now...if i knew what i can / cannot delete...lol

    List them here and we'll tell you what's safe to delete.

    Most likely, everything is safe to delete. My startup menu is empty =)

    The tricky part is that there are several other places startup programs can be defined. In the SYSTEM.INI file, in the registry, etc

    Wow,that's nice,thx!! Do you see any i can just delete??

    If not,what...just uncheck them to take them off startup??
