I am looking to make shooting my serious hobby, but i dont know where to start. I live in Louisville and know about the shoot every Thursday at Bluegrass (and im gonna start going on a regular basis), but besides that, where else is there? I can NOT shoot at silvercreek because i have to work every saturday....i also have to work every third sunday. Any advice?

I want to shoot as much as possible, and dont mind a little travel if i have to. My days off are Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

    Thanks.:wavey:

The Thursday night GLIPSC group is a great place to start. If you cannot make the IDPA or USPSA matches at Silvercreek, you might want to look into some of the other indoor ranges for indoor GSSF (Glock) matches (if you have a Glock). Also Wilmore, just outside of Lexington, also shoots competition matches (IDPA & USPSA) and Columbia, KY. Check at IDPA.com to find other monthly matches within 2 hour radius.

Good luck. And word of warning, this is highly addictive.
