With the 34's longer barrel, wouldn't standard pressure Speer Gold Dot or Win Ranger 124 and 125 grain ammo be MORE appropriate? With the longer barrel, your getting great velocity and more reliable expansion without the added recoil.

Anybody have any stats to back me up? It just seems to make more sense to me to use standard pressure defense ammo in my 34.

What are you using it for?

It was made as a a gamer's gun, not a carry piece.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a gamer's gun. They probably wouldn't call it the "practical/tactical" if that's all it was. But, no, I'm no using it for carry, just defense and maybe eventually as a duty gun.
