So far only these two Colt Series 80 Competitions in .38 Super.

I gotta get home to pick up the Series 70 SS Competition in .38 Super. I also have the Talo Series 70 Lightweight Commander .38 Super coming in as well.

Yeah I went to my lgs looking for another gun (sig p320) and together one of those. And I always like to take a peek in the used gun rack. Usually it's full of various poly pistols.

That's where I found this one. I asked to see it and was allowed to field strip it. I could see zero wear. Literally looked like it had maybe 50 rounds through it at most. Only "defect" was a small idiot scratch. And that I was able to remove with some just rubbing it with a rag.

This weekend I just broke 750 rounds through it.

Colt Gold Cup National Match I acquired from a dear friend. It's had a good deal of work. Shoots better than any I've ever had.

    Unfortunately, I haven't bought a 1911 in a couple of years.

I would say it’s the best built semi-custom I’ve ever shot.
Nighthawk has really stepped up their game
