Houses...Selling one, Buying another one

    I you have not sold/bought a house recently, YOU "may" be in for a real HUGE PIA
    After the first "contract" fell through on our house (sometimes you can't tell if a person is a a$$hat right away) causing the house WE had a contract on to "domino" also...this was just at the beginning of the China Virus....so nothing happening till a few weeks ago....
    New deal, BUT now with 7 days to closing on each, the MORTGAGE companies want bits of additional "Paper".... nothing like waiting for the last minute.. and they NEVER tell you what they want all at once...it's one at a time...every freaking day...
    These MORONIC MF'ers need a good swift beating PROFESSIONALS? JUST A BUNCH of incompetent A$$HATS

    I am refinancing one of my homes now. We are going through that. They sent a list of documents they need and it included documents we had already sent them.

    The closing statement had pre-paid escrow for insurance to bring to closing that was equivalent to 17 months insurance. The annual insurance premium was paid last month. It makes no sense at all

    I woke and put some beer in the FJ
    Stopped at the liquor store
    Arrived at closing five minutes early
    Said Comcast is showing up at the house in one hour, let’s do this.

    After all was done everyone in the room said, “I have never been to a closing that went that quickly.”

    I arrived to the house five minutes before Comcast arrived.

    I put our house on the market a little over a month ago and it sold in a little more than 2 weeks into the listing. Yeah, the RE agents, Loan Officers, Lenders, Inspectors, Appraisers and everybody else associated with selling and buying has their hand out constantly! It never stops!

    The paperwork, pretty much all done on-line, is ridiculous. There is so much crap to wade through it's almost not worth it all.

    The house I'm in the process of buying now is another dance with the Devil. Every day we're getting a call about something else that needs to be done. What a PITA.

    This could be so much more simple but the RE lawyers have really screwed the pooch with all this.

    Idk daughter bought her first home here in ,March, everything was smooth and by the numbers .

    oh and houses sell in one day here , one open house you’ll get 25-30 buyers . Then they all submit offers at like 5:00 two days later , you get way over asking with ,home inspections waved , and often cash offers .

    Much easier process if you can do it all with out a Realtor. We just sold our townhome two weeks before we were even at a point of putting up a for sale sign. It did cause me to have to rush all the renovations that we want done on the new house but it’s worth it to keep the 6 percent in my pocket.
