Reading the Jessie Ventura, Chris Kyle thread currently running, I got to wondering what other issues can you recall that have been as hotly debated as this one?
Civil War Threads usually got people fired up.
    Others?

This was hotly debated in my house, along with toilet seat position at night! I'm divorced now.

There is a patent from 1891 that shows B in your diagram being correct.

Certainly a lot of emotion in the CK/JV thread but I don't, didn't, know either one of them so it's hard for me to get worked up about it. No that I unpatriotic but there are a lot real "heroes" that most likely live within a couple miles of most of us. :dunno: I do think JV is a major DB but that opinion was formed a long time ago.

B of course. It's closer to you. No advantage to A, you have to reach further.

.40 S&W settled that one. It's superior to both. But even it bows at the altar of the mighty 10mm.
