    At my first college, kids used to use that method to get into dorm rooms that they had locked themselves out of.

    It is not that easy to do, it take practice. I did it once at a hotel I was working at, it was a real pain.

    You can only hope that the wire-guy/bad guy is surprised to find an armed hotel guest on the other side of the door. The wire made a good bit of noise. Another reason to sleep without the tv or radio on. And to be ever vigilant! :supergrin:

    Seriously though, I will be employing the towel method or taking a door stop with me the next time that I stay in a hotel. :whistling:

    When I was in tech school at Keesler AFB people used to do this all the time. They called the bent coat hanger a Keesler Key.
