I keep getting a Firefox msg every few minutes that says "FireFox not responding".

It immediately recovers but it's annoying as heck.

    Anyone else have this issue?

I just uninstalled and downloaded a fresh copy....

It's not your HDD. That's why I switched to Chrome.

Had that error. Uninstalled it and went back to version 7.0.1. Much faster and I've had no problems since.

    +1 on Chrome.

    It's fast and trouble free.

Reinstalled my wireless broadband drivers and that helped a lot. Still get an occasional lockup, though.

I think I've found the culprit. nothing to do with FireFox.

yes, with two different technologies. Seagate and Win 7 on a cool portable 640GB HD. It's slicker than snot.

My hard drive IS on its way out. I keep getting a message every time I start my computer saying "Imminent hard disk failure." It's been saying that for months. It just runs really slow, like I have dial up. Luckily today I just found my start up disks, so I can get a new hard drive and start from scratch.

OP- Not a clue what's in your screen shot...

I got that message with a Hitachi drive in my PC.
I got my serial number off the drive and went to Hitachi's website and found that the drive was still under warranty. 2 weeks later a new drive was delivered and it cost me nothing.

Looks like I found out what was wrong. The computer wouldn't boot up today. Not even to the Dell splash screen.

Pulled the plug on all the accesories, nada. I was hoping it was a memory stick. Swapped the sticks around and I have a bad one. On top of that, my CMOS battery dies. I just happened to have a new one since I bought 2 for my blood glucose meter.

Computer boot right up. Except it's giving me a 'Missing Boot MGR' msg. I know there's a utility somewhere to fix that..hmmm
