Oddly enough, I hated sweet chocolate as a kid. Until I discovered High Octane Blend.
Because "White Non-Chocolate Chocolate Stuff" wouldn't fit on the wrapper.

Milky Way Midnight has a really good dark chocolate. For fancy stuff give me a box of Seroogy's, but the Midnight is the best at retail stores.
Dark chocolate with just a touch of heat. The sweet and heat really compliment each other.
Dollar General's own milk chocolate bar which sells for only a dollar is delicious.
Absolutely the best.
I grew up with those things. Would walk into the corner store and buy one for $0.10.
As a kid life could not get any better.
(At some point they jumped in price to $0.25.)
Don't know how much they cost now or even where to get them.
Over the long haul, it has been snickers and twix.
There are some really good newer products with salted caramel but I haven't zeroed in on a favorite yet.
Good place to research chocolate would be on the lower peninsula of Michigan.Every little town or village had at least 4 chocolate shops on the main street. Some had more on the side streets. Nevr have seen so many chocolate shops, even on East Coast boardwalks.
Even with the exchange rate they are $1.20 a pop. The local IGA also has Aero, Coffee Crisp and Mr. Big Bars. The owners are French from up top Fort Kent and that border is pretty porous up there.
I dont know if this is the same but both amazon and ebay list Canada origin "Cherry Blossoms". Rather pricey, one quoting 40+$ shipping. others not as bad.
