Let it begin. Start making your picks. I see Kansas or Kentucky winning. Syracuse can make some noise and can win. Georgetown is my sleeper to go far. I would like Duke to win, but I see them out in the Elite 8 (lack of physical post player). Maybe Final Four. UNC should do pretty good this year.....NOT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... (evil laugh...)

The Hoyas over the Orange. Good game, and high scoring. Syracuse may still end up with a #1 seed, but only if Kentucky, Duke, West Virginia, and Kansas all lose in their tournaments.

I'm hoping Baylor makes a good showing. That's my alma mater. Go bears!

Baylor is a good team in a good conference. They remind me of Maryland...out of sight, out of mind, right up till a 30-win season.

It looks like West Va may capture that last number 1 seed. They played like mad men last night.

Yeah, too bad for UNC. They might have to declare martial law in Chapel Hill.

I'd say watch Florida State. They hold a lot of offenses to low percentages and could give some teams trouble. My Wolfpack plays them today. We're not worried though since we put up a lot of points on them last time.

UK all the way. I always support local teams (Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, Xavier etc.), but UK is something special this year. Hopefully they can overcome their young age and put together a memorable tournament run, because most if not all of their talented freshman are going to the NBA this summer. I think that there are several teams at the top that are all capable of running the table though. If 'Cuse hits their 3s, they'll be tough to beat. A lot of streaky teams this year too. I always look at the coaches. Teams that over-achieve in the tournament usually have really good coaches that teach really good defense. Can't wait!

Kansas looks mortal right now. I agree that there are several teams that, if hitting well and playing decent 'D', could win. Most of the top 10 teams.

They usually say that about Duke, but this year that really hasn't been the case. I do think some teams over-rely on the 3-ball, and when they ain't hitting, if they can't get the rebound, they dig themselves a hole.

I have not followed it much this year, so are you saying that about Duke for this year, or just in general? I always thought Duke was much too well-coached to fall into that trap too often.
