    Sure, I picked it for my first bike assuming from the beginning I'd trade up when I felt comfortable. It will help cover the purchase of my 2nd bike, a 1995 Nighthawk 750.

    I'd keep the Rebel if money was no object, I can fit alot of toys in my garage but my wallet would not approve. The Chevy's going too, and those Bandit 1200's have a certain appeal......

    I had a 03 Bandit 1200S for a while. Those are strong bikes for the money. Lots of torque in low and midrange. Throttle only wheelies were easy. Stock hp in the low 100's, torque low 70's. High 10's in the quarter mile if you know what you are doing. If you want more, lots of hop up aftermarket stuff are available.

    Those and the Zrex's are the best bang for the buck IMHO.
