so, has anyone ever had an orange julius? They are sooooo good. I heard the copyrighted version has raw egg (ewww, if true). But, I heard you can make them at home. What do you need? ice, milk, orange juice?

Used to work at a place that made milkshakes on a regular basis. We would sometimes use the machine to make "Orange Julius's". Simple... vanilla ice cream and orange juice... If it was large one (three scoops of ice cream instead of two), we'd use half milk and half OJ

This recipe appears in numerous places on the internet:

    Orange Julius
    Whirl in the blender:

    6 ounces frozen orange juice
    1 cup milk
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    10 to 12 ice cubes
