My wife and I have gotten hooked on Dryers "Slow Churned" and Bryers "Double Churned" low cal ice creams. They are only 140 calories per half cup.

Now that summer is here I want to make some homemade ice cream but go for the low fat/low calorie route.

    Any good recipes?

take a gallon ziploc bag drop in an ice cube tray of ice.

Take a quart ziploc bag put in a cup of lo-fat milk, splenda to taste, some vanilla (or whatever flavor you want) a shake of salt in the milk and more in the ice.

Seal the Qt. bag put it in the Gal. bag seal and then toss until ice-cream happens.

    This is a fun thing.

A 'half cup' is what I leave when I'm done!
