Although I own 3 Glocks and love them. I had to share.

Wow!
I owned the HK45C and sold it regretably but I bought 2 x HK P30's and they have been my go to and carry gun for 95% of the time. My Favorite 9mms hands down. I came across a great price on an HK45 full size here on the board. Bought it and got it on Thursday. Played with it most the day and had really decided it was just too big for my needs...... YEA until today.
Had to go get some practice in with the Berreta M9 for "All Army" in February/March so hit the range and decided, might as well take the HK45 as well, even though I had already resigned to reselling it.
Took 100 rounds of USA Ammo's 230gr Ball (Not the winchester stuff). While at the range I was comparing the M9 and the HK45 size wise, the HK is actually shorter in length but about a halt inch taller, NO biggy really. Then I made the mistake of shooting it.

First shot, I was kinda screwing around on the 50 yard line. Sent a round down range at an 8" steel plate and......... [span style='font-size: 12pt;'][span style='font-weight: bold;']DING!!!!!!!!!! [/span] [/span]
HUh?, thats funny had to be luck right?, I really wasn't even trying. (same thing my fellow team member said
).
Ok 2nd round , Ding!!!!! 3... Ding, 4.... Ding!!!!!
All hits just below center line. Pretty much POA.
The rest of the 100 rounds was done with different distances and combat style doubles and triples, without a single hitch. Softest shooting 45 I think I have ever handled. The 45C was about the same, but I really think it is considerably softer than the FNP 45 I breifly owned. BIG difference there was the ergo's are way better on the HK45.

[span style='font-size: 12pt;']HOOVER FREAKING DAM!!!!!!!!!!!![/span]

This baby is definately staying in the stable for awhile, maybe forever!!!!!!!
just thought I would share. If wasnt snowing today I would have gotten some range pics too, sorry. Just porn for now.

THIS WOULD BE JOHN WAYNE'S GUN if he was still alive today!!!!!

stop posting threads on HK... I have yet to buy one and every time I read another thread on em it makes me feel sad I don't own one.
Only 10 shot mags right?
The HK45 is the best sub $1k gun you can own at this time.
Congrats!

Its certainly one of them.

Yep, but brother, if you can't solve the problem with 10 rounds of 45 or hell 9mm for that matter, you might as well give up or look for a way out.

Sorry brother, but this is my 3rd HK and 4th I have owned, Ill never sell another one.
I carry a G26 for deep concealed when I can, but in most cases if I can I'll carry one of my P30s.
The HK45 and P30s just feel right in hand. Accuracy is well above me, I just do what I can.
Keep the faith brother!

I purchased and HK 45c six months ago. I haven't carried a 1911 since. The accuracy of this thing is what won me over. It is definitely not as comfortable to carry as my beloved 1911's, but the way I hit with this thing is spooky. I converted it to V9 and have an assortment of HK 45c ten round mags as well as the flush fitting 8 rounders. It rides well in a MS VM II, just not as comfortable as the 1911 as I stated earlier.

In the summer I might slink back to the 1911 but I am not sure.

Are the ergos on the full size really better than the compact?
I'd like to get a P30 and HK45 at some point.

They're both terrific pistols. They may be the best two polymer service guns on the market, in fact.

I would think so.

HK puts a lot of engineering into their guns.

and if you tell a girl you have an HK(and she is impressed).. she will be hotter and have bigger breasts than the average girl....
Shot an HK 45 today at the local shop/range, owned by one of the store employees. First thought was is this a .45? The felt recoil was less than I am used to on my 1911s, neat pistol, wouldn't mind owning one.

Still doesn't change the fact you don't have an HK, or the girl.

I have the girl... 5'1", size, 2, 32 DDD... My wife is everything you dream of...Hk yeah... I ended up with a G36 instead of the P2000sk... I like the trigger better.
Yeah, sure.
Sorry you cannot handle my wife is hotter than anything you ever had the chance to enjoy... :tongueout:
too bad soo sad... lol... sucks being a beta male doesn't it... me I would not know... all alpha! And I do have a G36... I liked the way it felt over the P2000sk.

Yes and no, It is for me in the fact that it is a full size combat pistol and has a better gripping surface than the 45C but the 45C is better suited for carry because the slick side panels wont chew up your "love Handles". I tend to carry a G26 in the summer and when I need to be extra discrete, but I would carry a 45C or P30 all other times and when Backpacking and the like. Now I will probably carry the HK45 for Comps, and maybe some back country stuff mostly.
