i was looking into getting an hk and having it converted. i wasnt aware that this could be done. i have seen a few companies like i like rdts, terry dyer and murry urbach convert hk94 to full auto mp5's. what are your thought on these? what is the total cost of one of these including the gun?

    thanks

An individual cannot legally own a machine gun made or registered after 5/86. Forget it. :wavey:

You can by a registered sear, and drop it into a weapon, but those often run $10k and up. Just for a tiny nunk of metal that is legally a machine gun in its own right.

If we assume that the sear weighs one ounce, which it probably doesn't, that has got to be one of the most expensive metals on earth!

I bet it's a quarter of an ounce which makes it $56,000 per ounce!

You would be paying for a serial number, not a piece of metal.
