S&W was there, H&K, FN, even Webly (who cares about this wierd handgun).

Glock was ignored like it doesn't exist, or doesn't play any major role in military/LE marketplace.

    Any reasons?

Maybe the producers think their are more interesting guns they could show first? Besides, the show hasn't been on that long, I bet if you give them time they will eventually feature Glocks.

Oh, and one more thing: Don't ever disparage the Webley, It is the greatest combat revolver of all time.:soap:

As a combat handgun, the first half of the twentieth century belonged to the Webley in terms of places been, use around the world. It proved itself pretty much everywhere in the first and second world wars and protected what was the world's largest empire.

That is a little funny since Lee Emery hosted the "Mail Call" show on the History Channel and he is a Glock sponsor. Did they mention the Beretta? I wouldn't get upset about it but it is interesting to note for sure.:dunno:

The webly was quit inovational at it's time, it had been tried before with cap and ball, and it failed. The webly repeating revolver was really neat, just too late as JMB came out with the 1911 a year later.

Sure, glocks are the shape of the modern handgun, and have alot to do with the design of the handgun for the last 30 years... but not the last 100? That's the best guess I'd give, lack of a pedigree that's generations old.

what does it take to get away from the old stuff.. another hundred years.. Windows 95 was great back in the day to and millions of people used it. Not even worth mentioning now since there is much better things available.
    Lead paint anyone?

Lots of cool guns out there. Just be happy a gun TV show is on.

However, I can't stand most current gun shows (too much drama and staged). Like Top Shot, Sons of Guns, American Guns. I'll watch the last two to see the guns, but hate the drama.

I like Outdoor and Sportsman Channel's gun programs even better. More news/review.

I like American guns and they show more detail of what is being done to the gun and at the end of the episode it's done and you just wait for the next show.

Sons of guns always makes you wait till next week to finish showing 30 seconds of something that looked interesting but really wasn't.. just a little played out I think.. But it's a decent show to watch.

Old software, like old girls, have no value.
But a quality handgun is forever!

top guns is based off top shot. and i think its more of a comparison of guns your most likely NOT going to be able to shoot regularly..... most military and recriational shooters are VERY familiar with Glock and Barreta, the HK's, FN's are alot smaller part of the market than barreta and glock as for S&W only one i remember seeing was the 1911 in 9mm

:dunno:I dunno ... a pristine copy of WIN 95 Rev "B" fetches a pretty good price on eBay these days for old lab equipment. FYI No attack purported.

AFAIK, they simply feature certain guns on certain shows. Were you expecting some sort of comprehensive presentation and/or some sort of definitive rating (in their opinion) of "Top" guns? I may be off-base here, but I'm not sure that's their purpose. Plus, the series continues, doesn't it? If you want Glocks, maybe they have Glocks in a later episode. I do know that Top Shot, a show by the same guys, has had Glocks on it.
