High standard 1911

    I haven't even heard of this gun before and a guy wants me to trade him my 30sf for it?? Any reviews on a high standard need help asap thanks

    They are made in the Phillipines, and are on the same level as the Armscors and the RIA's; they run about $400 or so; IMHO, not a good trade for you for the 30 SF......

    But if you want to have a GI style 1911 (parked finish, low sights, spur hammer, etc), they aren't bad for the price.

    Depends on which models they are.

    Some of them are American made, but those all start around 1000 bucks.
    They are hit and miss.

    The 500 and under guns are like posted above.

    The High Standard Government model is built by Armscor in the Philippines. Its the exact same gun as the Rock Island Aromory Government.

    Yeah I didn't think it was what I wanted I been thinking about selling my 30sf to buy a sig carry nightmare as my first 1911 or a standard nightmare, also been considering the springfield RO

    If you really wanted it, that's more of an even trade.
    Perhaps even a few bucks on their end.
