looking at getting one. Just curious if they make high cap mags.

also just wondering if the magazines are as durable as glock magazines. I heard these are metal.

Just recently I modified the mags lips of a few XD mags. I was going to use a brass hammer like I used on my M40 mags. When I started looking at the XD mags I was suprised at how easy it was to move the lips. I think I ended up using a really big pliers. The steyr mags are some of the toughest mags I have ever seen! When I was modifying them I had to litterly beat the hell out of them to adjust them. Steyr uses some very tought steel in their mags.

I personally have never liked the Glock mags. They always look cheap to me.

Oh by the way CyByte whatever happened to that nice girl you met online?? I couldn't keep track of that thread you started.

Congress will have a special session in August to consider the 9/11
Commission report. They will reconvene again on Sep 7, one week before the AWB expires.

Plenty of time to attach it as an amendment to something else that is needed and get it through, which is the Democrats plan. The votes were there to pass it before, and they may be there again... :(

hehe now I'm not really "dating" anyone. I meet this girl Shea at a bar, she was to drunk to drive home so I drove her home and we ended up doing "it" and now we've seen eachother a bunch of times but we are not dating or have we even gone out to dinner or anything lol.

I'm hopeing to change that because I like her but so far she's turned me down but I'm gonna keep trying.

I'm glad to hear they are durable :)

From what I hear, when AWB sunsets, any LE mag will be available to everyone. So, I'll buy some more before that happens. LE prices (depending on a gun) is from 1/2 to 1/10 of the price of the pre-ban hi-cap one. Example - Glock 21 mags - close to 100 bucks for pre-ban, 6.99 for LE. Go figure...

Get a job at a small department - much easier to get hired, put up with less bulls*it, and still be an officer. Oh, and did I mention you get to buy LE mags? :)

If you are really serious about getting into LE, and there are hiring freezes in your area, apply to departments in other states. Every police department in my area of Virginia is either hiring right now or will be within the next couple of months.
