This cabinet / entertainment center was made by my dad's wife's brother.

Guess that technically makes him my step uncle, but as he & I have only met a few times - it doesn't count.

Sorry - he's not taking orders!

Why isn't he taking orders? He could probably quite his day job....unless, of course, wood working is his day job....

Dang, that is cool! If he sold those he'd probably have more orders than he'd know what to do with.

I agree completely, I would order one. You ought to talk to him about selling them.

selling is the easy part, it's the shipping that's always a hassle.

From the other thread I read, the USPS, FedEx and UPS have all teamed up, so shipping should be a breeze!!

When he "retires" he wants to build furniture...

    Just a hobby for now.

I read (on his FB page) that he built this for an upcoming NRA banquet.

Don't know if that means it'll be sold / auctioned / raffled off - or just displayed.

But yes, he could sell a ton of them if he wanted and had the time.

I told my step mom to tell him I'd give him one hundred whole dollars for it. haha

Nice. If he won't sell them at least publish the plans so some of us could have one built.
