Would one expect to see a dramatic increase in fps with this carbine? Another words, would the price of +p be justifiable in this gun.

I would think with the longer 16" barrel, one may see a noticable fps increase.

Yes, I know it's one fugly gun but it's my RELIABLE fugly gun! And the red dot is dead on at 25 yds.

Well moving from a handgun to a rifle you will see a velocity increase for each inch of the barrel up to 12 inch in length. Exactly how much increase depends on the round.
Anyway I think thats correct and it would be just a bit more dramatic with +p ammo.

The increase in velocity for 9mm Luger is probably less than you think. But longer barrels make for better accuracy.
