I reckon it would be a little bit hard on the brass too, being straight blowback.

You got a good point there....since a box of 10mm brass is worth as much as a Hi point.

But for the guy that wants to own a 10mm but never shoot it, Hi point?

Maybe it is the technician in me but I love projects that transform a product into something totally unexpected.

If it is a project you are looking for, lets get together and buy some 1911 parts and build our own. It would take me a long time to scrape up the money, but it is a project to work on.

I've always wanted to do that.

I remember seeing the entire kits, less the frame, for sale and the frame for sale on the next page. Sarco?

    Lets do it.

    But not in 10mm. Haha

Sounds good, I don't mind making one in a more traditional caliber, .38 stupid or 45 acp. Be good practice for me when I do decide to put one together in 10mm. It will just take me years to put the parts together due to financial bankruptcie.

    You would think....
with all the 45's that the military had, they would have cleaned them all up and presented one to every retiring GI to do with as they see fit.

Wouldn't that have been a grand gesture of appreciation?

    Not our government.

    I'll email you, Bullman.

Nah, the AR will be traditional too. I would imagine if I do the10mm carbine thing it will be one of those CCU things to go along with my G20. Maybe when Lone Wolf comes out with a large frame.
