People don't have to be educated. They have their cell phones. The dumbing down of the general public is well under way. The democRATs will see to that. They depend on it for their survival.

My point was that even though people have access to their smart phones, that increased potential access to knowledge at their fingertips doesn't seem of interest, or practical benefit, to a dismaying number of folks.

Reminds me of when you could find a dictionary virtually anywhere, but people weren't interested in using them to learn the meaning of words, or how to spell them.

Ditto not availing themselves of encyclopedias if they had a question. When I started elementary school my parents invested in a set of World Book Encyclopedia, including the Children's set. They became almost as worn and dog-eared as the annual Sears & JCPenney catalogs at Christmas. ;)

Much like that nappy weave of coyote hair it has. Or it might be braided rat hair. Hard to tell over that 5-head.

So, some of you folks thought Idiocracy was a fun movie and not a cautionary tale? :dunno:

Oh man I laughed too hard reading the comments on that tweet.

He’s so clueless and far left, he’s going to be the next AOC. Watch. He’s the perfect puppet for them. All he has to do now is go transgender.

It’s not a matter of where he grips it! It’s a simple matter of weight ratios!

    Sigh.
Alas, both the OP's coyote lady and the Guam man (who made it to Congress) are from my state, Georgia.
    o_O
    Be kind.

On a more pleasant (and hopefully somewhat redeeming for Georgians) note, with a nice stroll down memory lane for me...

Ours (the regular set), as well, which were a few years old when my parents bought them for me sometime in elementary school. I about wore them out and my children almost finished them off years later. My parents said I also used to read the backs of cereal boxes. I like to read.

The articles are interesting to read now.

The "Bird" entry was one of the ones my kids loved when they were little. They didn't deliberately destroy the glossy colored pages of bird photos; the pages finally disintegrated from so much use and age.

I'll never get rid of these, although they may wind up in a dumpster when I'm gone.
