I have an Hk45C with factory threaded barrel and a Silencerco Osprey 45 suppressor with 16x1 LH metric piston. I want to pick up some extra O-rings.

Can I use my spare H&k barrel o-rings in the Osprey piston (i.e. are they the same size?)

Can anyone tell me what size I need to replace the piston o-ring? I see that the silencerco website sells some metric o-rings but I am not sure which one I need and they are expensive at 2 for $5.00. I'd like to go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy these o-rings...

Thank you

Those are silicone O-Rings. (And you probably already know that.) You can put a caliper in the groove and measure the groove, then a caliper on the inside of where the piston meets the housing. Then you can go ahead and look up the High Temp O-Rings and see if they are cheaper than just buying them from SilencerCo.

Don't use rubber or you'll be dealing with a burnt on mess, and probably bind up the piston system while you're at it.

You could also just remove the O-Ring and measure it. Then go find the right size online. You could *probably* use orings for fuel injectors if you find the right ones. http://www.sisweb.com/vacuum/o-rings/oring.htm

You'll need some replacement o-rings for the inside of the metric booster (also the outside which is an 018).
McMaster Carr has them very cheap but they come 25 or 50 to a bag. Here are the o-ring sizes for the metric Silencerco pistons.

16mm LH piston: 1x14 metric
14.5mm LH piston: 1.5x13 metric
13.5mm LH piston: 1x12 metric

The .45 size barrel o-rings are also 1x14
