There is someone that keeps bashing hunting and saying how unneccessary it is and that overpopulation has to do with it, etc...

She is from alaska and also a shooter, but claimed all hunters just wanted the skins of the animals and there was no reason the modern man needed to hunt.

PLLLEAAASSSEE help me out with some links!!!!;P

    Thanks!

skins is cool, but meat is better ;) Personally I like teeths and claws over skins......;)

Forget stats ( have no clue what stats she looking for ;Q ) , tell her it's part of "conservation" between man and animals. If we didn't hunt ( harvest ) these animals, their population would be greatly stress. At one time we "hunters" whent overboard and nearly wiped out the elk & bison and even turkeys, but man has balance the population based on game limits and controlled managements set by the feds and local commissions.

Man/Woman will always hunt deer and such and such and these animals are going to die.She might not like this, but that's just a fact of life.

Don't waste your time on anti's. Not worth it. They will never see it our way and we will never see it there way. Just be glad we live in a country where difference of opinion is legal and practiced. It may not be the same view as others, but that is the beauty of an individualistic culture like ours.
