    Hi y'all,

A week and a half to go, I can't wait ... It'll be my first GSSF match; we plan to arrive Friday evening till Sunday.

Any suggestion for a nice hotel in the range vicinity ???

    Thanks...

Several of us have been staying here for a few years. It's about 20 minutes from the range and a central location to good food. They also have Hi-speed cat 5 internet in all rooms if you bring a laptop.

..isn't there like a "small" area for "campers" @ the range?

Has anyone camped out @ the Jacksonville range or know if "the range" would mind if I just set up my "hooch" for a RON...like friday night?

    Jay

I don't believe there's any camping at Gateway. There are plenty of overpasses on 295 though. Just trying to help Jay. ;f

Jerry; you should be ashamed of yourself. You know the Army doesn't issue "Cardboard Boxes" to the troops. ;f ;f ;f

..we have moved up to the poncho/550 cord or bungee "hooch"...the "Ranger Hotel".

Don..you haven't ever, by chance, been "run-over" by a Ranger on a dirt bike, somewhere on an air field in NC have you? :)

Nope but came close once in Viet-nam. Good thing it was "Monsoon Season" and the PSP was beginning to float. ;f ;f ;f ;c ;c ;c
