Help with fantasy baseball question....

    i can lock 1 position player, i have narrowed it down to 2 choices. do i keep Joe Mauer of the twins or Hanley Ramirez of the marlins, im having to hard of time deciding and want you-the good people of glocktalk to make my mind up for me. thanks for your participation, brad.

    Of those two, I'd go with Hanley. They're fairly similar, but Hanley will get you stolen bases and he's hit more home runs than Mauer in most years.

    thats what ive been sayin but everyone i know says that if you can get that kind of production from a catcher you have to keep em, but i do like hanleys stolen base potential also

    You know, they may not be wrong. Catcher is a really weak position. It's a tough decision, but who are the other fantasy-star shortstops?

    Troy Tulowitzki, Jose Reyes (if he even rebounds), Rollins (can he rebound), Jeter.

    I guess it's even worse at catcher. Brian McCann, Victor Martinez, Matt Wieters, Miguel Montero.

    Yeah, you may be better off with Mauer, depending on your league.
