    Guys,

I spotted a rifle scope here while I was roaming around at SM Xiamen. Actually they also carry a wide selection of spotting scopes and binoculars. It's a Tasco 3x9x32 (w/illuminated crosshair). Price is around US$75 including the mount. Is this a good buy guys? Also would there be any problem bringing this home, I mean at NAIA? Never experienced so far my baggage are being checked.

By the way, I want to use this for my airgun or could be for the .22 rifle am planning to buy soon. Your payo naman mga sir.;f

Ah by the way mount cost is RMB30 (Php 200 more or less) so bale yun ang discount ko sa original price na US$75 ng scope. Mura na yung mount di ba?

Medyo malayo ang eye relief ng Tasco, I have one on my 22LR. It's either bawasan ko yung stock or palitan ko yung Tasco. Sobra pala pricing dyan, it sells $30 here. Di ba gawang China yan?

I bought one in Thailand before wala naman problema pag pasok ko dyan.

Not to hijack this tread, but how do you rate Tasco vs Bushnell? Isn't it that Bushnell is also now made in China? Wasn't it that Tasco is made in Philippines?

    Thanks.

    More slightly OT.

Most of the scopes are made in Asian or other second and third world countries. Both are marginally the same banana. It's like BMW vs. MErcedes. Both have good models and both may have lemons.

    Now back to the topic.

    To answer your OT.
Tasco is now owned by Bushnell.
You must have meant Simmons in RP.

Vega, the scope is made in China. I decided not to buy muna.

Ang bilhin mo yung long eye relief.

    Good luck.
