    Hello,

I purchased a used Macbook Pro that is loaded with office 2011 for mac. I have a valid product key and the program works fine, however, before I start using the new computer I would like to do a fresh install of the OS.

Does anybody know how I can reinstall the program without a CD. I am hoping there is a method where I can download the program and then enter my valid product key to reinstall.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Microsoft Office For Mac Standard 2011 is on usenet but you'll need a valid key to install it.

Download the 30 Day trial version of Office for Mac 2011 and use your key to activate it.

    https://www.microsoft.com/mac/trial

    From the FAQ:

I have already installed the Office for Mac 2011 trial. Can I use a product key from a retail package to activate it and convert my Office for Mac 2011 trial into the full product?..Yes. You can purchase an Office for Mac 2011 product key online or from your retailer. The product key will convert your trial into a fully licensed version of Office for Mac.
