I was talking to a friend today about a gun he saw on a recent trip he went on. He described the gun to me as a .40cal, S&W make, and the finish was "grey" and weighed as much as a "spray can". I enjoy when I have to search for gun information but this threw me for a loop. The only "grey" finishes I know of are the Gen 3 models but those are heavy and bulky. All I can come up with at this time was maybe a Sigma that got a paint job?

Smith and Wesson made a sigma at one time with a grey frame.

I had always heard of it called the Toy Gun Gray Sigma.

Ugh....I actually was one of the first buyers of that Sigma. Sent back 4 times over 10 years to Smith....he would be better to throw it like it was a spray can that pull the trigger.

How ignorant of guns is your friend? Gray and about as heavy as a spray can! That's how I would expect some gangbanger to describe a gun. Compare it to his graffiti can.

"Toy Gun" even seems generous for that thing :wow:

I admit he does not know very much about guns. I even protested there was no way it was as light as a spray can. He said it was right next to him when he held it so i think it was just word association. :dunno:
