    What I'm looking for...

    1. Striker fired, polymer
    2. single stack 9mm
    3. no manual safety
    4. no long trigger like the PF9, LC9 (not striker)

Don't even say Glock it makes me mad there isn't one.

Closest thing I can think of is the XDS but its only in 45 right now. There is the sheild, but I don't really like all the controls, but I guess the safety can be removed? Or maybe I could just deal with it.

Any suggestion? I have a PF9 and don't really like the trigger and after some light strikes on some Fed HST I don't really trust it anymore.

I'm small and need a smaller gun for IWB in Crossbred mini tuck. Especially a business enviroment. I've had a g27, but was just a little too thick for dress slacks..

    Thank ahead of time.

Sounds like Kahr CW9 is perfect for you.

yea the shield is a good one, The safety is so ..trying to think of a word here.. it takes force to engage and disengage. It was meant to be on there for purse carry or something or another. Its very simple just to carry it with out being engaged.

PPS is more like a glock then the rest. Nice trigger, short reset. Feels really good to shoot. I've had a pf9 and a few different Kahrs and I say the PPS is the better shooter by far! I just don't like the backstrap safety. Basically the gun won't fire if the backstrap is off.

Im a smaller guy and i have the shield and love it. I would rather not have the safety but its small enough to be out of the way. For a small gun its really easy to shoot well. Ive never handled a kahr so i couldnt tell you anything about them but when i got the shield my ccw shopping was put to rest. I have it on every time i go out the door.

I forgot about the PPS, we might have a winner there!!

I do really like the P99

After looking at that grip safety, it doesn't look like a deal breaker, but why every gun have to have something I don't like.

I just want a single stack, small 9mm, thats just like a Glock.

PPS is the answer. I added a couple of strips of bicycle tire around the grip and voila - the grip issue is no more.

Yes, get the shield. Heck, I have two, and 1700 rounds fired thru the pair. I don't even like M&Ps, but the trigger is different on the Sheild.

It has a safety, but it is quite different than most and may be worth considering.
