I got an offer thats been bugging me all day. I stopped by my local gun shop to pick up some food for my G26 and I was peeking in the pistol cases to see if anything new came in when I saw a Gen 2 G23 in excellent condition 1-10 round mag..the owner whos a good friend of mine offered to trade for the Gen 3 26 on my hip with 2-10 round mags. I love the 26 but it has plenty wear on the outter barrel and slide and its also got the grey finish wich I dont care for much. Should I jump on it in the morning? :dunno: Oh the G23 has night sights as well

20-30 minutes with some Flitz polish will have that G26 barrel looking shiny and beautiful again :supergrin:

You can always pick up a LWD barrel for a little over $100- and you can have the slide done with cerakote for about $50-60...

Keep the 26 and shell out the measly 300 for it. If I find good deals like that I'll buy them just because I know I'll make my money back.

I wouldnt trade a gen3 anything for a gen2. If you were asking if you should trade for a gen3 23 I would say yes but not the gen2.
