I have a pig problem. I have never had the opportunity to hunt pigs before. I think it is a ferrel hog or hybrid of large size and I think there is more than one of them. This weekend I found what I thought was a wallow and I found some poop that I know did not belong to any other animal I am familiar with on my place. It was a spoor of considerable heft. I have tried some "bait" called Hog Wild. It seems to attract deer so far but not pigs. I have limited opportunity to sit and wait a long time to ambush the pig. what is the best practice for this? I know they are supposed to have really sensitive sense of smell- how can you prevent them detecting you? I think they are nocturnal- is there any chance of getting them in day light? Are they averse to light at night? what works for bait? Anything else I should know?
