Help I think i might have damaged my 19

    Hey, I just got a model 19 brand new.. and i did something dumb..
    I tried to field strip it without pulling the trigger first..
    The slide moved forward a little bit but then stopped..
    then i realized i didnt press the trigger...
    could i could have damaged this pistol at all..
    I didnt force it just tried to pull the slide off...
    someone might know here.

    Should be fine.I did that a few times, still flawlessly shot 400 rounds after.

    thx i am worried, if that would damage the gun what should i look for?

    Did the same thing once, no problems w/ mine.

    thats what i was hoping for... a response from an armorer like that would break the glock unless you forced the slide off

    You're good to go. Put it back together and put some rounds down range.
