    Hello,

Can anyone send to me a copy of your Windows XP Home cd? I need to rebuild the PC and have the serial number but cannot find the original XP Home cd-rom. It must be an actual Microsoft Windows XP Home cd and not a "Quick Restore" or "System Restore" that came with your PC.

Again, I just need the disk. I've got my own number to go with it.

    Who can mail me one?

Of course, I'll cover any costs including a handling charge for your troubles. Please contact me with any offers.

    Thank you.

You can probably either go to Microsoft's website and buy or download one. Amazon.com has good used ones all the time for sale cheap.

I can send you an XP Pro cd if you like, no key required.

No thanks. I guess I'll try the torrents/p-p to download a copy of XP Home and then use my number with that.

Call Microsoft tech support. If you have a product key, they shouldn't make an issue about sending a cheap replacement CD to match it.

What you probably need is an OEM Windows XP CD. If the key came from an HP, Dell, Gateway, etc, you’ll need an OEM CD. An Upgrade or full retail CD won’t work with that key. If the key that you have is from a Retail (boxed) version of XP, then you’ll need a retail (either full or upgrade) CD.
