This one sounds kinda funny but we have some super great
guys here on GT. My oldest child was to learn to play a
four string base. I found her one today Its a nice finder
but the problem is I have no clue on what to get for a amp
for it. Help me out guys. She really don't need a high dollar
amp just something on the low end to get started. Let me know
what you have or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

First things first. You need to look at amps specifically made for bass guitar.
Not a regular guitar amp. For the reason that the amp is tuned to the frequency that the bass produces. Also the speakers for the bass amp handles and reproduces the bass sound better and without tearing the cone material.

Check out your local music instrument store and they will have trade-ins for pretty decent prices, or, look in the local want-ads for musical instruments, you may find someone who either is upgrading their setup or gave up entirely on the thought of playing.

Look for something in the range of a 10" speaker with about 50 watts output is a nice starter.
Then put on your shooting muffs.;f
