New to this forum and first post. Have a new G22 Gen 2 purchased years ago and never paid much attention to it after taking out of the box and put a few clips through it. Didn't like it then but pulled it out and shot it again several weeks ago and for some reason it much better and comfortable in my hands. So I break it down for cleaning and removed the Locking Block Pin. I didn't need to but I did it anyway so the pin came out easy enough pushing through with the ballpoint pen but it doesn't go back in all the way sitting flush with the frame from the insertion side. Anyone with experience putting these pins back in would you recommend to lightly tap it all the way in? Thx

Don’t whack it! Manipulate the slide catch and put pressure on the catch lever forward and back while pushing the pin in from right to left. Can be finicky, but should pop right back in.

Locking block pin doesn’t contact the slide stop except at the slide stop spring. Slide stop goes in after the locking block pin is installed.

Thanks all! One of the videos forwarded was a help. I just had to use a lot more pressure and a little bit of hammering but we're all good :)

If all else fails start looking for a good gunsmith who knows Glocks and would be willing to help you if you run into trouble.

My local gunsmith has assembled guns for me that I couldn't figure out how to do it myself and most of the time he does it while I wait and doesn't want to charge me anything if it's something simple but I usually give him 20 bucks anyway for helping me out.
