    Question #1--Recently picked up a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (Didn't get 10 cause my system won't run it). Anyways, while 5-10 minutes into a flight my computer just stops, screen goes black. Says "Virtual Memory" is low. Is this RAM? MFS '04 says minimum RAM is 128, I have 512. All other recommedndations for system size are far exceeded.

    Question #2--Before buying a flight controller I found my old microsoft Sidewinder in a box in the basement, without any manuals, etc. Where can I find info on this old thing to find out how the buttons are numbered. What I expected to be #1, actually activated what was supposed to be button #7. I did not reset any of the settings on the joystick, all button settings are default settings.

    Thanks for any and all info.

    Virtual Memory is not the RAM.It's hard drive space.You need at least 15% of the todal drive free.You should have a quarter or even a thiird free would be better.

    This most likely won't clean enough but try installing Ccleaner and running the cleaner and the registry "issues" on Ccleaner.

    Since it is a particular problem with just one program, you should go to the game's publisher support site and see if there is not a solution there. Other people probably had the same problem and fixed it one way or another.

    How much Virtual Memory do you have now?
    ====================================
    How to manually change the size of the virtual memory paging file

    You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.
    1. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
    2. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance.
    3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Change under Virtual memory.
    4. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
    5. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.

    That does look pretty cool. Are the pics on the website actual scenery from the game? If so, they have some real life graphics. :thumbsup:
