Got an unexpected influx of stupid money from a recent home sale.

No, I will not give it to you.:wavey:

    I have a few ideas of guns I'd like to have;

    Glock 26
    [IMG]

    CZ 452 FS (.17hmr rifle)

Mil Spec 1911 (I do have Kimber already)

Of course, revolvers are always a possibility too.

    Open for ideas...

I would suggest the SA 1911 Mil-Spec. It is extremely good.

    There's no replacement for a Glock 26! (except for maybe a 27)

Get the CZ - those 452s in .17 HMR are insanely accurate. I just took mine out last weekend and was hitting anything on the range on command.

I put pupils in the eyes of my zombie target at 50 yards, plugged a little piece of rebar that was sticking up out of the ground at 35 yards - shot it from top to bottom. Shooting for groups, it will easily do well under an inch at 100 yards.

    Fun.

If I recall, you already gots bunches of revolvers.

If you ain't got a Glock at all, then you needs a 26.

As to rifles, how abouts a CZ bolt in 7.62x39. That'd be high on the neato factor.

What does that CZ run? I would think you'd want a decent scope for it too.

    .17HMR is a fun caliber.

Any one of the plethora of new Judges would be a good waste of funds.

Can I suggest something different? How about either a Tokarev (and clones) or CZ 52? They will run you around $300ish. Than use other $300 to buy TWO CANS of surplus ammo (1200~1400 per can).

This way with $600, you secure yourself a decent range gun and tons of range ammo.

I say go with the CZ, its kind of funny you mentioned it I've recently started lusting over the same rifle in .22lr or its bigger brother, the 550 FS in 6.5x55. I don't know why I want the 6.5, I have no need for it, it just sounds like and interesting round.

Wow, I am looking at getting those same 3 guns (except the 452 in .22lr, and maybe a loaded Springer instead of a Milspec, but I am undecided on that right now).

I'd recommend the CZ452 100%...but in 22LR. Why? Because they are so accurate that you will want to shoot it all the time, and after a while you will realize that you could be shooting the same groups using cheapo 22LR ammo instead of the more expensive 17HMR. I had a 452 in 22winmag, and I always wished ammo was cheaper. I never hunted anything with it that a 22lr wouldn't take, so the more expensive ammo was just a waste IMO.

Another suggestion for more than a ton of (energy) fun is the Marlin 1895GS in 45-70. Very easy to toe in the woods and easy to load down to easy plinking loads or all the way up to stopping a Peterbuilt.

To the OP, all 3 are good choices.
