    Anyone going to watch it?

I saw this Gordon Ramsay guy on a BBC show called "faking it" and he is a HUGE horse's rump. Should be funny, if you like to see cooks getting humiliated.;)

    Chef!?

That comes back around on PBS from time to time, with comedian Lenny Henry in the title role.

    FUNNY!

THat was a funny show. Everton was hilarious.

Gordon Ramsay is Gareth Blackstock X 1000, and he's REAL!!

the show was great he is a real horses ***. but it was pretty good when he told the matrie'd to take them bimbos back to get more silicon he totally dissed them it was great. he is a very great chef although i think he could work on his people and teaching skills a little more.

It is entertaining, as silly as it is. Granted he does have quite the temper, but it would seem he may be 'working it' a bit more than usual for Hell's Kitchen; such is the nature of the show.

BBC America is running a couple of his other shows now. One of them is Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, in which he helps to makeover and save restaurants that are going down the drain. He comes across quite a bit more personable and likeable in this show. Still quite blunt and to the point with his ideas and opinions though.

    :)

THis seems to be one of the most "stagey" reality show. Who are the restaurant guests? where did they get folks who will wait 3 hours for dinner cooked by beginners?

THis last episode they had "two of the most important food critics in the US". Not only did they not name them, which was weird, but one of them called very rare lamb overcooked. They did not mention anything about the quality or flavor of the food other than , good, bad, overcooked. They were scripted fakes, obviously. THere are other things that are obviously staged, but the show is still fun.
