Hey, I need some help with my Gen1 23! I've got a Lazermax it use to work and yep you guessed it and now it doesn't??
When I install as per the instructions and the laser is in the barrel properly and "ON" steady, I attach the lower receiver on it cuts off like its supposed to, but when I try to press the slide lever to activate the laser nothing??? The slide lever seems to move freely. . . I'm stumped, any one with any suggestions?

Welcome. I used to have the same setup with the Glock 23 and the Lasermax guide rod laser. Lasermax has excellent customer service. It sounds like yr having an installation problem? Did you use the supplied spring for yr take-down lever?

Another thought: you may have it in backwards if yr not meeting any resistance when you push it in.
