I just go the rules for GSSF and have a question. Are Heinie Sights legal for use in Amateur class like on a G17 or G22? I believe the anser to be yes, but wanted to double check before I invest in them. If they are not legal, pleas explain, if possible. Thanks

Yes, Heinie sights are absolutely legal. Most any sight that is notch and post design and rear fits in the dove tail and not a melt fit are legal. Ghostrings and any fiber optic type sights are not legal in Amateur class.

Heinies are an excellent choice for GSSF and IDPA shooting.

Here's another vote for Heinies!!! I have them on all but 4 of my Glocks! The GSSF G17 is as it came from Glock, G35 has a set of Bo-Mars and the G24 & G17L Unlimiteds have NO sights!

Thanks, I was also thinking of putting them on my G35 for IDPA. Which is recommended the slant 8 or the regular Heinie?
Another IDPA club member has one with a line on the rear sight and front sight, shich Heinie would that be? I have only used the factory sights so I really don't know waht to be looking for, in a Heinie.

Heinie makes both regular and slant pro sights. Both are available either all black or as the dot-over-dot "straight eight" night sights. check out www.heinie.com

Cast my vote for both Bo-Mars and Heinie.
I have both.I like the Heinie for IDPA better
than Bo-Mar.Bo-Mar seem to have a snag effect to
me.But for GSSF it dosent matter to me.
