Anyone use Heinie sights? Looking to put something different on my FEG/browning Hi Power.
I usually go the Triji. or Mepro. route myself. I decided to try something different for my Gen. 2 G19 and ordered the Ameriglo I-Dots. I got them for $80 delivered off Ebay.
Heinie makes extremely good sights, especially if you like a 2-dot style. Be aware that the non-Melonited sights (believe he only Melonites the Glock models) tend to rust pretty easily, so keep them oiled. Beyond that, I have nothing but good to say about them.
I have a 1911 with them. I like them.
I've had them on all my Glocks and a couple Sigs. Very nice sight picture, they seem to have an good combination of speed and accuracy.
I have several of the slant 8 type on my hk's.
A bit pricey, but they are quality.
I love 'em, and prefer them on my Glocks.....
Always thought they should be rear sights only.
I have them on a 1911, I don't shoot it much but they work OK for me. I also have a FEG HiPower and I like the factory sights. I had to re-paint the dots but they work just fine.
BTW, how do you like the FEG?
I never thought I would like the two dot sight picture, but after putting them on four HK pistols, I now have them on my G21 gen 4. They are made well, and I can pick up the front sight very quickly.
Love Heinie sights, have them on all my competition Glocks. Just plain black sights. Hard to explain why I like them over others but I do and have tried quite a few other sights including BoMar, Ameri Glo, and Dawson.
